5 Favorite Things About A Vegan Lifestyle

1) My heart and spirit are not riddled with guilt and angst each time I eat, I am not supporting an industry that contributes to massive
2) Food tastes better to me than it has in years. I CRAVE veggies and whole grains, I LOVE the way it tastes, the textures and colors.
3) I feel better physically than I have in quite some time, less bloated and far less run down feeling over all.
4) Experimenting with foods and recipes is something I look forward to rather than dread, cutting up tofu doesn't involved tendons and skin. That's good for me.
5) I can eat peanut butter. I love peanut butter, it is one of my favoritist foods in the whole world and the idea that I can have my peanut butter and jelly more regularly makes me a very happy Mango.

YAY Peanut Butter!

Indeed!!!! PBJ rocks - I sing the PBJ song everytime I have one. Somedays, I have up to 2 PBJs!! Here are my favs:

1) Knowing that I have done a small part but made a conscious choice to not contribute to the animal cruelty that is so rampant in factory farming.
2) Not worrying about all the dieseases that come with eating a diet high in saturated fat. Not to mention all the junk they put in meats and milk in processing.
3) Even after stuffing myself with vegan foods, I still feel good about myself because even in high quantities (unless it's fried or something) it's still healthy.
4) Trying new foods and recipes. I've never been this excited to play around in the kitchen.
5) Seeing the difference in my clothes, my attitude, my skin, my everything. Adopting a vegan lifestyle has been good for me.

Even DANE is considering cutting back on meats. He even had meatless tacos with me the other night. True story.

Dane? Ate meatless tacos? Did he make a face? LOL

He did not make a face - in fact he says "It's alright - it's really watery and fills you up fast, but it's better than I thought it would be."

Dane, or Sauroth (his WOW character), and his frog are casting ~schpells~ right now and can't talk. :-P
